KYLIE MARIE EASTMAN

Ryan and I got up Tuesday morning and headed to the doctors' office at 9:40am. We were really early and sitting there anxiously waiting to be called, along with about 10 other patients. Finally, our name was called and we walked back into the room where I would be having my ultrasound. the lady squirted hot gooey stuff on my stomach and started the ultrasound. The first site of Peanut was with her legs touching her forehead and her arms waving all around. With the nurses comments, I started laughing and Peanut flipped over, strethched out her legs and started punching and kicking the invisible punching bag infront of her. It was very cool to see and feel exactly what she was doing. Every ultrasound we have seen of her she is constantly moving around VERY FAST! The technician lady was trying for about 10 minutes to get pictures of all the organs and blood flow to make sure everything was going well. She would not be still for even a second to let any of this happen. The nurse finally had to poke my stomach and guess where she would go next to zap a picture. It was too funny for Ryan and I. I was a little worried that she was too active and we would not be able to know the sex of Peanut....untill the technician lady asked if we kind of had an idea or feeling what it was going to be. Ryan and I both said "a girl". She said
"well congratulations mom and dad, you will have a daughter... and she will be a hand full"!!
I felt so happy, excited, anxious, and relieved to know that "it and peanut" was a girl. After getting our ultrasound pictures we had to go back into the waiting room and wait to be called to go in and see the doctor. With other patients in the room, Ryan and I really couldnt hug and jump up and down and talk about the exciting news we just got. Ryan sent me a text message that said "Kylie", and I looked at him and we both smiled and knew that was going to be the name of our little girl. After visiting with the Dr. he was very happy for both of us and said everything is going as it should and to come back in three weeks. We then left to head over to my parents to show them the pictures and tell them the news. They were so excited and loved the name we had picked out. Now I get texts from both of them making baby jokes to me and telling me how I was when I was a baby. My mom is the most excited and has been sending Ryan and I both picture texts of me as a little girl, and has already picked out her grandma name. Now knowing that Kylie is on her way, I have gathered up some of my baby stuff (blanket, cup, pillow, teddy bear) to put in her room. I am so excited now to register and pick out room furniture and get everything set up for Kylie. I find myself passing by her room and opening the door and smiling and immagining a little girl crawling around playing with her toys and it makes me SO happy! I cannot wait to hold her and neither can Ryan.

Here is her ultrasound pictures from the appointment. The top one you can really see the outline of her face! :) The second picture, you can see her feet above her head!!! These pictures were takin in less than 5 seconds... she's an active little one!

Oh yeah, I have a blog, NEW house, baby names!!

Sorry! I've been busy? Which means I've been sleeping and watching my DVR shows. Ummm.. what have we been doing? My mom and I went to my wonderful Aunt Pam's house to get some boxes and bubble wrap (baby bubble wrap which my cousin loves) so Ryan and I can start packing. We move into our new house on Feb 8, and then Feb 9 is when we find out if Peanut is a boy or girl. It's going to be a VERY exciting week for us! Superbowl is around that time too, which means Ryan will be standing by the grill for hours. Ryan right now is actually cleaning out his office closet and Ozzy and I are watching HGTV! We've been very busy I even forgot that this Thursday (Jan 28) will be my birthday...oopsies! That's about all I can remember right now. I seem to have the pregnancy short term memory loss thing going on! I know that some of you have been asking if we've come up with any baby names and we have!

Rainy and cold nights = finding things to do on the internet

Online Scrapbooking!
So after browsing the web i found an awesome site for online scrapbooking where you can create a page and then either print it out yourself or order prints! For now, I'm just playing around on it, but I'm thinking about making a "for real" one! Its so easy! This does, however, mean that I need to start taking pictures! Where's my camera?

Bye-Bye Mass Texting...Hello Blogging!!

Helloooo!! Ok so Ive decided to create a "Pregnancy Blog" for two reasons. One- I'm pretty popular or famous whichever one you wanna call it, and I have a lot of people who'd like to hear daily updates from myself and Peanut and thought this would be a good way for everyone to stalk me. Two- I think this will give me a nice hobby during pregnancy and give Ryan a break from me constantly jumping around and asking him "what are we gonna do today, what are we gonna do today huh huh HUH?" Sooooo yes he agreed that I should start blogging as well, I mean coming up with tricks to play on him every day is getting hard, I need to amuse myself in another way. I am new to this so give me some time to get the hang of it. I've only seen blogging be done on the movie Julie and Julia.... I just hope I don't get addicted to it like she did.

This is going to be a long first blog because I have so much to tell!! Ok so Peanut is currently 17 weeks and 6 days old. I'm due June 19, 2010. We went to the Doctor today and heard the heartbeat (music to my ears)... we did get a little scared at first because they had a hard time finding it, but the minute we heard it Ryan and I both were at ease. The lab results were in from the previous apt and everything is good and mommy and peanut both are healthy. OH before I forget, so everyone knows how much Ryan eats and never gains a pound (jealous? me too) well Ryno is deff gaining pregnancy pounds and is ever craving SWEETS! I think it's cute...he doesn't like it too much! Ok back on track now... So far with the pregnancy I feel like I'm having it way to easy (minus my CRAZY mood swings). No morning sickness, no nauseous feelings...nothing. My cravings are SHRIMP, Pasta, and applesauce. WEIRD! Sorry if I'm all over the place writing this, I was diagnosed with ADD when I was 8, and thought it went away but pregnancy def fired it up again. Ummmmm....what else? Oh haha back to the dr apt this morning... Doctor said February 9th we will find out what the sex is. I have a feeling Peanut is a boy because I catch myself calling "it" (i hate that) a he or him or his....and Ryan has even said "bye little man" when he was leaving for work one time. I haven't felt any movements yet, but I'm sure he/she is moving very rapidly as we saw in the first ultrasound (Peanut on Redbull). I cannot wait to feel the first kick. Well I'm gonna put some pictures up and ultrasound pictures as well and hope this catches everyone up with today. They won't all be this long... promise!

This is the first ultrasound... a little too early, but the bottom picture will tell you why we call he/she Peanut :)

This is the second ultrasound picture (technically the first) and you can see how big Peanut has grown. I was 15 wks here. I love how you can see the baby feet!

Here's us! I love him so much! Best husband-to-be, friend, and daddy-to-be!

The famous Ozzy, our boxer! He smiles a lot :)
